Description
Dry ice, or solid carbon dioxide, can be used as an effective and chemical-free method to kill bed bugs. As the dry ice sublimates, it releases CO₂ gas that displaces oxygen in a sealed container or bag. This low-oxygen environment suffocates bed bugs at all stages of their life cycle. To use this method, place infested items in an airtight container or bag with dry ice and leave it sealed for at least 24–48 hours. Always use caution when handling dry ice due to the risk of burns and CO₂ buildup.
